What We Learn

1st & 2nd Grade: Heroes Are Real! The Bible is full of amazing stories. As I learn about real heroes, I begin to understand God's power. Did David really slay a giant? Did one little boy's lunch really feed all those hungry people? By exploring these stories I will begin to realize how relevant the Bible is and how I can be a hero as well!

"With God's power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine." Ephesians 3:20 (NCV)

3rd-4th Grade: Jesus Is a Gift! During these two years we will focus on Jesus' life and ministry. At this age, children can make a decision to follow Christ and get baptized. We will answer the question, "What does being a Christ follower mean?" They will learn all about Jesus and the gift of salvation God gives us through His Son.

"God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only son so that whoever believes in Him may not be lost, but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NCV)

5th & 6th Grade: God Wants a Relationship With Me! How do I take Jesus with me to school? How do I tell my friends how much He means to me? During this time I become so concerned about what others think I can sometimes loose sight of the life God has for me. Our goal is to build community and teach the students simple tools that will help them 'take Jesus with them' wherever they go!

"The thing you should want most is God's kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other thngs you need will be given to you." Matthew 6:33 (NCV)
