PRESCHOOL


The purpose of the Preschool is to provide families in our church and community with a safe, caring and stimulating environment in which their children can mature and grow. We offer educated and experienced teachers who reflect the warmth and joy of daily Christian living. Social, emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual aspects of development will be addressed through daily activities and curriculum.

Our Christian environment includes children saying grace at both snack and lunch times. We also have a Chapel program for children once a week with music and Bible-based lessons.

Our Program

We operate on a year-round schedule from mid-July through June each school year.

We offer a preschool enrichment program for 3 hours in the morning or afternoon. Our afternoon classes are reserved for children ages 3-4 only. Students can enroll for classes as follows:

Tuesday/Thursday
Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Monday through Friday
Full time care (7:30am - 5:30pm) is offered which
includes our preschool enrichment program.

Extended hours are available both morning and afternoon .

Lunch Hour is available from 12:00 to 1:00 daily, includes hot lunch, and can be attended by either morning or afternoon students.

Our facility is licensed to care for children ages 2 - Kindergarten.

KINDERGARTEN

The purpose of the Kindergarten is to provide families in our church and community with a safe, caring and stimulating environment in which their Kindergarten age children can mature and grow.

Our kindergarten is a full day (6 hour) program focusing on the development of basic academic subjects. We use a comprehensive approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling. Math and science are taught using hands-on experiential activities. The curriculum includes social studies in addition to art, music and physical education. Bible memory verses and homework are assigned weekly. Our kindergarten class is equipped with computers for students to expand student learning and experience the world of technology.

Schedule: 8:45 - 2:45 Monday through Thursday
8:45 - 1:00 on Friday
Extended hours available 6:30am - 6:00pm through our
HomeBase before- and after- school program.

Year-round calendar:

Mid-July to June

3 vacation breaks during the year

Fall break (October) - 1 week

Christmas break (December) - 2 weeks

Easter break - 1 week

Curriculum:

Well-rounded program of curriculum

Instruction in writing, math, pre-reading/reading, and science

Chapel weekly, Bible stories and verse memorization

Time is scheduled regularly for music, art and physical education,
as well as recess break

Tuition (2007-2008 school year):
$640/ month for 6-hour class
$795/ month for full time class (with extended care)

Registration: $75 annually/$95 per family (Preschool & Kindergarten programs)
The annual registration fee and a non-refundable deposit equal to
one month is due at the time of registration. (for Kindergarten class)
